     I'm very glad you found our website.  Now, if I can just entice you to come and join us in person some time!  I guess what you want to know is "What is this church like?"  Of course, we think we're very friendly-but every church thinks they're friendly.  Perhaps a better way to describe us is that we love to explore the meaning of our Christian faith.  Like it says at the top of this website, we're a group that likes to "intellectually look at our faith," and we "enjoy doing it."  One way we do that is through the sermons.  In my sermons I try to interpret the scriptures and apply them to everyday life.  Another way we do that is by classes.  Every January through May I lead a weekly class.  We've explored the Old Testament, the New Testament, Jesus, Paul, and Prayer.  These classes are very lively, with lots of discussion.  We also love children.  Every Sunday we have a children's sermon in worship, and Sunday school for kids.  Three Sundays a month we have youth group on Sunday evenings.  On Wednesdays we have over 50 students from the middle school across the street come to our Math Olympics program, and every school day morning our Breakfast Club is open to serve students a hot breakfast.  We also love to hang out with each other.  We have a lunch and celebrate birthdays once a month, and we go on periodic field trips.  So, you can see that we do lots of things.  We're not a large congregation, but that means that it's easier to get to know one another and that each person's opinion is valuable to us.  So, enjoy surfing our website and come and visit us!
